Before Your Treatment

To ensure the best results, please avoid self-tanners, tanning beds, and sun exposure, as these can increase the risk of scarring, hyperpigmentation, or burns, potentially leading to permanent side effects.

Additionally, do not wax, tweeze, bleach, or use depilatory creams for at least two weeks before your session, as these methods remove hair in a way that makes the laser less effective. You may shave freely; this is the only form of hair removal that will not interfere with results.

If you have recently taken antibiotics, please inform us, as treatment cannot be performed until two weeks after your last dose due to increased photosensitivity.

Before your appointment, shave the treatment area (unless receiving facial treatment) and arrive with the area clean. Remove any deodorants, lotions, or cosmetics beforehand for optimal safety and effectiveness.

Aftercare

Redness and bumps are normal immediately after treatment and typically fade within about 2 hours.

Apply aloe vera gel right after your session and reapply as needed for comfort.

For 24 hours after treatment, avoid deodorants, cosmetics, and harsh acne products. You should also avoid sun exposure, hot showers, vigorous exercise, or anything that raises your body temperature. Gentle skin care is key.

Apply UV sun protection to any exposed areas, and limit direct sunlight for two weeks after your treatment.

Within 1 to 2 weeks, you’ll start to notice hair shedding from the treated area. To support this process, gently exfoliate the area as needed.

How Many Sessions Will I Need?

Most areas require at least 6 sessions to begin seeing optimal results, with sessions spaced 4 to 5 weeks apart, depending on the treatment area. Hormonal areas may need additional sessions. The exact number of sessions you’ll need depends on factors like hair density, hair color, genetics, and how consistently you follow the treatment schedule. For complete removal, more than 6 sessions are typically necessary.
