A Virginia-licensed RN administers Venofer® as a slow, monitored drip, usually 30 to 60 minutes, right where you are. Before the drip starts, your RN checks vitals and runs through an allergy screen, then stays with you the entire time, adjusting the pace if needed and keeping an eye out for any reaction.
